Skye was born on American soil in Heidelberg, Germany while her parents were active military, but she doesn't speak German. English is her one and only language - unless Pig Latin has suddenly become a universal language.

Moving first from Germany to the United States, Skye has traveled from Hope Mills, North Carolina to Cutbank, Montana to Parkton, North Carolina and finally to Lillington, North Carolina. She has lived in small towns all her life, on the edge of larger cities, and wouldn't want it any other way. She prefers the open spaces of the country, and the ability to look up and see the moon and stars rather than the glow of the neon lights.

Currently, Skye attends classes at Central Carolina Community College (CCCC) full time. She graduated from Western Harnett High School in 2008 with a high school diploma as well as some college credit thanks to the Huskins program through CCCC. She is currently trying to obtain her Associate's Degree in Lasers and Photonics Technology through CCCC and then a job as a laser technician.

She is a self-declared "wannabe novelist" who spends 75% of her time writing short stories, poems and novels, which she posts on Fiction Press. Most of her works are a mixture of fantasy and romance. She will never admit it outloud, but she is a hopeless romantic. She enjoys tormenting her characters and their lovers in her stories as long as they are together in the end. Another fact she won't generally admit outloud - except to a select few - but a lot of her romantic writing delves from her own love life.

When she's not working on school work or writing stories, Skye enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She's dated a few guys in her past, but is currently with Justin (much to the shock, horror and disgust of a select few), the same guy she dated for two years a while back. He recently gave her a promise ring, which she willingly accepted and even though she doesn't usually plan more than a day ahead, when he asks her to marry him (after the realization of three resrictions), she is planning on saying yes.

Her future plans include getting her own car, getting a steady job she's not worried she might lose any day, publishing a story someday, and one day returning to Montana - if only for a little while.
